The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eskelinen shoots in for a double leg but Cunningham sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Eskelinen is defended easily by Cunningham.
Eskelinen throws a hook but Cunningham blocks it.
Cunningham throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cunningham throws a series of punches but Eskelinen avoids them all with ease.

Eskelinen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Eskelinen is pushing down on Cunningham's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cunningham is fighting to maintain full guard but Eskelinen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Eskelinen wants to free his trapped foot but Cunningham is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Eskelinen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cunningham is just riding it out for now. Eskelinen eventually gives up the hold.
Cunningham is staying active underneath Eskelinen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Cunningham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Eskelinen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Eskelinen tries to score with some ground and pound. Cunningham controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Eskelinen throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Eskelinen unloads with some shots from mount but Cunningham bucks and avoids them well.

Eskelinen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cunningham to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cunningham shrugs it off.

Cunningham swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Eskelinen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Eskelinen feints and as Cunningham raises his hands in defense, Eskelinen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eskelinen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Eskelinen wants to pass the guard but Cunningham is keeping the position.

Matias Eskelinen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Eskelinen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
