Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henri Hobbin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sour Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hobbin comes to the cage accompanied by Fight Music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henri Hobbin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sour Diesel! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hobbin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diesel to score with a decent uppercut. The fight stays on the outside here - Hobbin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hobbin moves in looking to clinch but Diesel pushes him off. Left hook, right uppercut from Diesel. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hobbin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hobbin tries to clinch but Diesel moves out of range. Hobbin wants to clinch. Hobbin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hobbin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hobbin fails in his attempt to clinch. Hobbin doesn't manage to clinch there - Diesel circles away.
Diesel scores with a decent looking hook. Diesel lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hobbin tries to clinch but Diesel is having none of it. Diesel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hobbin! Hobbin holds on for dear life. Diesel throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hobbin because Diesel loaded up on that one. A nice elbow there by Diesel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diesel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hobbin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hobbin wants to hold on but Diesel pushes him away. Poor strikes thrown by Diesel there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Diesel cracks Hobbin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Diesel throwing strikes here but Hobbin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Diesel goes for an armbar but Hobbin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hobbin. Diesel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hobbin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diesel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hobbin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Diesel wants to get back to his feet but Hobbin passes into half guard.

Hobbin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Diesel tries to get to full guard but Hobbin has control of the leg. Diesel looks gassed!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hobbin wants to work for an arm triangle but Diesel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hobbin is trying to control. Diesel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Diesel gets full guard. Diesel controls Hobbin momentarily but Hobbin frees himself. Diesel wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hobbin is now in half guard. Hobbin seems to be working for a kimura but Diesel defends the submission attempt. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diesel can do anything to dispel that myth. Diesel is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Diesel regains full guard. Nicely done. Hobbin won't allow Diesel to get back to his feet. Hobbin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hobbin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Diesel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hobbin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Diesel is trying to push Hobbin off with his feet but Hobbin grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Diesel's ankles and Diesel is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
