Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between KooK Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glenn Archer has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, KooK Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glenn Archer!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor ducks under a wild hook from Archer.
Connor tries to clinch up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Connor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Archer looks to land a combination but Connor avoids it well.
Archer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connor but Connor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Connor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Archer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Archer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connor tries to avoid it but Archer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connor to the ground. Connor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Connor stuffs the takedown attempt from Archer. Archer gets slowly back to his feet.
KooK Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Archer.
Connor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Archer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Connor tries to clinch there but Archer circles away.
Glenn Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Archer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Connor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Archer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Connor defends it nicely.

Connor rushes Archer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Connor tries to break free but Archer pushes him back against the cage.

Connor throws a combination. Archer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Glenn Archer has been cut.
Archer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Connor goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
KooK Connor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Connor connects with a crisp jab.
Connor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Connor throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Archer's head.

Connor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Connor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Connor is looking to clinch but Archer is avoiding it.
Connor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Connor fails in his attempt to clinch.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Connor.
Connor throws a leg kick which misses Archer's front leg but catches the back leg as Archer tries to avoid it.
Connor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Connor wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A slapping leg kick lands for Connor.
Connor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Connor lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Connor.
Archer tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Connor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Archer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Connor is fending him off so far but Archer persists. Nope, Connor circles away and we're back to standing.
Connor throws a one two combo.
Connor has Archer up against the cage in a clinch.
Archer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Connor's efforts to push away.
Connor has Archer pushed against the cage.
Connor landing knees to the head.
Archer looking for a takedown.

Connor tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Archer's elbow.
Connor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Connor loads up on a big right hand but Archer slips the punch.
Archer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Archer is working to tighten is grip on Connor's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Connor has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Archer is really squeezing tight and eventually Connor passes out! Archer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
