Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenson Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hawkins's choice of entrance music: Don't Fear The Reaper. Sean Taylor has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins with a nice cross.
Hawkins throws a hook but Taylor avoids it easily.
Hawkins lands a jab-cross combination.
Hawkins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hawkins avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hawkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Taylor is just out of range.
Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hawkins manages to avoid it.
Taylor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Taylor scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Jenson Hawkins has been cut.
Hawkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Taylor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Taylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hawkins.
Taylor moves out of range of the strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Hawkins misses the target.

and Hawkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

enabling Taylor to counter with a crisp jab.
Taylor lands with a straight right. Hawkins didn't see that one coming.

Hawkins scores with a hook to the body. Taylor takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hawkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hawkins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hawkins falls off balance throwing a combination
and Taylor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hawkins misses with a looping left.
Taylor lands the left hand.
Hawkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taylor moves away.
Hawkins thows a left - swing and a miss!
Taylor takes one to the side of the head.
Hawkins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hawkins looks to clinch
and Taylor counters with a stiff right hand.
That has opened up Jenson Hawkins's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taylor swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawkins.
Hawkins scores with a jab to the body.

Hawkins throws a combination that misses
and Taylor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hawkins looks to throw the jab but Taylor is out of range.
Taylor lands a left and a right that send Hawkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Taylor thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hawkins is rocked!
Taylor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hawkins.
Hawkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Taylor finish him?
Hawkins cracks Taylor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hawkins seems to have recovered his senses.
Taylor tries to bum rush Hawkins with a series of wild strikes but Hawkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taylor takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Taylor lands with a cross.
Taylor circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hawkins to the canvas! Hawkins doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Taylor keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Taylor!
