Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Garfunkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch The Itch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Itch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Garfunkel's guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mitch The Itch just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The Itch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Garfunkel is just riding it out for now. The Itch eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well The Itch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
