Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog moves into range and clinches up with Rage. Dog blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rage is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Rage is trying to trip Dog. He has hold of a leg but Dog is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rage persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Dog has Rage pulled in close to control his posture. Dog is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rage defends well. Dog pulls Rage in close to prevent any damage. Rage with a flurry of punches that miss. Rage trying to control but Dog is working from the bottom. Dog had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rage defends it easily. Rage wants to stand but Dog is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog is pulling down on Rage's head. It's preventing any offense from Rage, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rage wants to get up but he can't break Dog's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dog is looking for a triangle but Rage pushes his legs off easily.
Dog is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rage won't allow Dog to sweep him here. Rage trying to control but Dog is working from the bottom. Dog working for a triangle but Rage defends it easily.
Dog is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rage wanted to stand there but Dog had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rage tries to clinch and Dog counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dog works his way into side control. Dog is looking to take a break and control but Rage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dog happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rage is looking to escape. Rage is trying to maintain the position but Dog is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dog content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dog stands up and beckons Rage to join him on the feet. Rage scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rage lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rage keeps the fight on the outside. Rage shoots and misses and Dog counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dog. Rage controls Dog momentarily but Dog frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudy Dog dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rage keeps Dog at a distance using the push kick. No luck for Dog with that takedown attempt. Dog swats away the attempt to clinch by Rage. Rage closes the distance but Dog moves to the side and Dog counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rage won't be happy with that. Dog trying to control the position but Rage is working away. Rage is looking to reverse the position. Dog trying to control the position but Rage is working away. Dog tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rage's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rage has escaped the position, nice work there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rage is trying to improve his position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dog. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dog gets a clinch. Rage working Dog over with knees to the body. A frustrated look appears on Dog's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dog goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rage prevents it.
Rage lands a nice knee to the body. Dog gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rage.
Dog is trying to drag Rage to the mat but Rage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rudy Dog. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dog tries to pull guard but Rage won't allow it.
Dog is pressed up against the cage. Rage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dog down to the mat. Dog avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dog shoots for a double leg takedown but Rage sprawls well. He's pushed Dog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A right-left combo lands from Rage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick from Rage. Rage wants to clinch and Dog counters with a shoot takedown. Rage fights it but they end up in guard. Rage working a defensive guard here.
Rage looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dog is one step ahead there. Dog gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog clinches with his opponent.
Rage landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Rage lands a body shot in the clinch.
Dog tries to pull guard but Rage holds him up against the cage and eventually Dog drops back down to his feet.

Rage connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dog's face.
Dog prevents a takedown attempt there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudy Dog dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Dog closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dog is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rage! Rage is looking to improve his position but Dog isn't that keen on the idea. Dog landing strikes from the mount and Rage is in trouble! Dog fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dog lands a big elbow. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dog wants to finish this one by submission but Rage is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dog.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rage defends well. Rudy Dog overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rage gets to his feet. Dog looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Rage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rage tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog feints and as Rage raises his hands in defense, Dog changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dog controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dog trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom. Dog looking to sit in guard and control but Rage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rage is fighting to break Dog's control of his arms but Dog is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Dog has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rage off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Dog stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rage. Dog dives in and grabs Rage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rage pushes down on Dog's head and hops out. Rage lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dog backs up against the cage.
Rage works over Dog's head and body with a nice combination. Rage throws a head kick that half lands.
Rage swats away the attempt to clinch by Dog. A head kick misses from Rage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog tries to work over Rage's front leg with a kick but Rage checks it. Rage lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Rage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rage has managed to clinch.
Rage goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dog prevents it.
Dog tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dog has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rage regains guard immediately. Rage is trying to control the position but Dog postures up. Dog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rage swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jamie Rage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rudy Dog is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Rudy Dog showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dog, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
