Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musashi Miamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislav Borkovskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stanislav Borkovskiy! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miamoto clinches. Borkovskiy misses with an elbow over the top. Miamoto tries to break the clinch but Borkovskiy is controlling the position. Borkovskiy misses with the head strike.
Borkovskiy can't get the takedown.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Borkovskiy working aggressively here.

Miamoto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Miamoto wants to pass to mount but Borkovskiy is defending the position. Miamoto is keen to just control but Borkovskiy is a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Borkovskiy fails to land the takedown. Miamoto leaves Borkovskiy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Musashi Miamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanislav Borkovskiy. Miamoto scores with a shot to the body.
Borkovskiy looks gassed! Miamoto tries to land a front kick but Borkovskiy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Miamoto shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miamoto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Borkovskiy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miamoto trying to control the pace. Borkovskiy is staying active underneath Miamoto, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Miamoto content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miamoto throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Miamoto controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musashi Miamoto dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Borkovskiy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miamoto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Borkovskiy. Borkovskiy misses with a head shot. Miamoto uses the momentum to regain guard. Miamoto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Borkovskiy's guard. Miamoto stays in close to Borkovskiy's body and controls the position. Borkovskiy is working an open guard so Miamoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miamoto scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Miamoto looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Borkovskiy keeping moving, preventing Miamoto from controlling successfully. Miamoto gets to his feet. Borkovskiy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Miamoto here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Miamoto gets a clinch. Miamoto breaks from the clinch.
Miamoto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miamoto showed some decent athleticism there. Borkovskiy is in trouble now - Miamoto has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miamoto is in the full mount, landing strikes. Miamoto landing strikes from the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miamoto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miamoto scoring with strikes but Borkovskiy is staying in there. Borkovskiy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Borkovskiy is squirming around, avoiding Miamoto's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Miamoto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Miamoto sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Miamoto lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musashi Miamoto dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Miamoto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Miamoto missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Miamoto is controlling the pace.
Borkovskiy is refusing to be controlled, as Miamoto sits in half guard. Borkovskiy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borkovskiy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Miamoto escapes and gets back to his feet. Borkovskiy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miamoto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Borkovskiy's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miamoto is pushing down on Borkovskiy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Borkovskiy is fighting to maintain full guard but Miamoto has managed to sneak the leg through. Miamoto not doing much here.
Miamoto moves nicely into side control. You can see the frustration on Borkovskiy's face as Miamoto controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miamoto has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Miamoto misses with the ground and pound. Miamoto misses with the ground and pound. Miamoto tries for a kimura but Borkovskiy is defending well. Borkovskiy pushes Miamoto away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miamoto gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ground and pound from Miamoto seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Miamoto remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Borkovskiy bucks up and tries to throw Miamoto off but instead Miamoto has got his back!
And that's the end of the fight! Musashi Miamoto showed his dominance in that final round. Well Miamoto has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
