Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafael De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mad mic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Silva comes into the arena with Ruff Ryders blaring out of the sound system. Rafael De Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
De Silva looks to land a combination but mic avoids it well.

De Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. mic was covering up waiting for the punch and De Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
De Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. mic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and mic counters with a head kick. That will keep De Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

mic got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mic has managed to get both his arms back between De Silva's legs - danger averted.
mic drops back, looking for a kneebar! De Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. De Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from De Silva!

De Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as mic works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rafael De Silva.
I think mic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
