Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nuf nuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinton Rua has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua scores with a three punch combo!
Rua avoids the head kick by nuf.
nuf shoots for a takedown but Rua saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rua dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rua darts in and clinches nuf up against the cage.
Rua gets underhooks to prevent nuf's takedown attempt.
nuf looks gassed!
Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rua misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rua scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rua lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but nuf circles away quickly and effectively.

Rua fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. nuf sprawls well initially but Rua persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rua is nestled in close to nuf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rua seems to be working for a kimura but nuf defends the submission attempt.
Rua wants to take a breather but nuf is having none of it.

Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

nuf tries to clinch up but Rua circles away and keeps his distance.

No joy there for Rua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rua scores with a one two! nuf had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

nuf might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rua kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rua tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and nuf is able to avoid easily.

nuf is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rua defends well.

Rua is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! nuf is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! nuf has escaped and now he's on top!
Rua has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but nuf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
