Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curt Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Huerta closes the distance and clinches.
Williams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Huerta throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Williams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Huerta sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Huerta pushes Williams up against the cage in a clinch.
Huerta stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Williams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams tries a body shot but Huerta blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Huerta has him pressed against the cage.
Huerta goes for a takedown in the clinch but Williams prevents it.

Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Huerta takes one on the button.
Williams throws a left and a right that both miss

and Huerta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Williams won't be happy with that.
Huerta cracks Williams with a big elbow.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Huerta on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huerta is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Huerta takes a little break here. Williams wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Huerta lands a few punches from side control.
Williams is pushing Huerta's head away, looking to escape. Huerta manages to hold on to the position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Huerta has an Americana. Williams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Huerta is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Huerta hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
