Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kriss Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kriss Turner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kirill Petrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kriss Turner! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov showed some decent athleticism there. Petrov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Petrov working Turner over with strikes. Turner trying to get back to full guard but Petrov takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Petrov misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Petrov unloads with some shots from mount but Turner bucks and avoids them well.
Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petrov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Petrov with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Turner is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Turner is in a horrible position here. Petrov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Turner is trying desperately to improve position. Petrov looking to finish Turner with some ground and pound. This is bad for Turner!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov throws some wild stikes that Turner manages to avoid easily.
Petrov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Petrov controlling the position easily from mount. Petrov is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Turner is surviving well by controlling Petrov's body position as best he can. Turner is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Turner is trying to escape the mount.
Turner blocking the ground and pound. Turner is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Petrov throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Turner because Petrov loaded up on that one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petrov breaks from Turner's wrist control and lands an elbow. Petrov controlling his opponent. Petrov breaks from Turner's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Petrov controlling the pace for now. Petrov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Turner is looking to improve his position but Petrov isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Petrov throws some wild stikes that Turner manages to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kirill Petrov dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Petrov gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov controlling the pace. Petrov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turner is just riding it out for now. Petrov eventually gives up the hold. Turner looking for subs from the bottom but Petrov mounts him!

Petrov wants to control the pace but Turner is squirming around nicely. Kirill Petrov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Petrov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Turner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Turner shrugs it off. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Petrov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Turner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov landing strikes, looking to finish! Petrov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Petrov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Petrov extends the arm and Turner is forced to tap!
