Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Ligachev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filho comes into the arena with NAS - Hate Me Now blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ligachev throws an overhand right that lands on Filho's shoulder, as Filho tries to avoid the shot.
Ligachev slaps away a takedown attempt from Filho, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ligachev tries to close the distance and clinch but Filho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Filho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ligachev throws out the jab.

Filho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ligachev tries to avoid it but Filho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ligachev to the ground. Ligachev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ligachev fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Filho checks it well.
Filho uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ligachev.
Ligachev sizes up Filho with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Filho drops his hands momentarily and Ligachev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Filho walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Oh Filho is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
