Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Blackstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel comes to the cage accompanied by I Am the Thorn by Cradle of Filth. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gabriel drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gabriel wants to control from the top but Blackstone keeps moving.
Blackstone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gabriel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blackstone is trying to control the position but Gabriel postures up.

Blackstone is looking to control Gabriel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blackstone avoid being mounted?

Gabriel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blackstone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gabriel.

Blackstone closes the distance and clinches.
Gabriel has picked Blackstone up - he's going for a ride! Gabriel dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Gabriel is working for a submission of some sort.
Blackstone won't allow Gabriel to pass to mount.
Gabriel is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Blackstone is not content to let Gabriel control the position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Austin Gabriel just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Gabriel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blackstone pinned against the cage. Blackstone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gabriel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blackstone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blackstone is not content to let Gabriel control the position.

Gabriel swings around for an armbar but Blackstone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gabriel's guard.

Blackstone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gabriel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gabriel looking for a guillotine here but Blackstone defends easily.
Blackstone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Blackstone wants to control from the top but Gabriel keeps moving.
Gabriel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Blackstone should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gabriel has tightened it up now! Blackstone should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
