The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez misses with a hook.
Lopez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lopez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kerimov circles away quickly and effectively.
Lopez leaves Kerimov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lopez misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circling - Lopez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lopez misses with a wild body shot.
Gustavo Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kerimov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopez pinned against the cage. Lopez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kerimov ducks under a wild hook from Lopez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lopez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kerimov.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minkail Kerimov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kerimov shoots for a double leg takedown but Lopez sprawls well. He's pushed Kerimov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gustavo Lopez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kerimov is breathing heavily.
Kerimov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lopez.
Lopez lands a jab to Kerimov's midsection.

Kerimov ducks into an uppercut from Lopez and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
