Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Webber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cariño Brutal kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brandon Vera is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Vera throws out a loose jab but Lang uses good head movement to avoid it.

Vera jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lang walks away with a smile on his face. Vera gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Brandon Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang scores with a kick to the body.
Lang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vera's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lang lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lang takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lang has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Vera is looking for a sweep. Lang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lang is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vera can't fight it off and eventually Lang manages to take the fight to the floor. Vera looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
