Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rico Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gideon Abieezer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes into the arena with Get It On blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Abieezer regains full guard. Nicely done.
Abieezer looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Santos has picked Abieezer up and slammed him! Abieezer can't keep hold of the triangle and Santos manages to pass to side control!

and Santos counters with a big head kick but Abieezer shrugs it off.
Abieezer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Abieezer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Santos won't be happy with that.
Abieezer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Santos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gideon Abieezer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Abieezer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Abieezer lands in his opponent's guard.

Abieezer jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Santos is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Santos and Abieezer has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Abieezer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Abieezer goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Santos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Abieezer but great work by Santos.
Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Abieezer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Abieezer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Santos off and has taken his back!

Gideon Abieezer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Abieezer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
