Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cup Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Karhim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karhim has chosen Three Days Grace - The Good Life as his entrance music. Raul Karhim has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cup Coffee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raul Karhim! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karhim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Coffee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Karhim is looking to improve his position.
Coffee is keen to just control but Karhim is a slippery customer. Karhim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Coffee wants to work for an arm triangle but Karhim is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Karhim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coffee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coffee trying to mount his opponent but Karhim defends it. Karhim wants to get back to his feet. Karhim tries to roll over but Coffee keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Coffee content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Karhim is trying to get back to full guard. Coffee is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Karhim as he works his way to full guard.
Coffee pushing down on Karhim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Coffee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Coffee uses his free foot to push down on Karhim's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Karhim.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. BOOM! Coffee connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Karhim keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Coffee with the ground and pound from mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Coffee controlling from the full mount. Coffee lands a heavy elbow. Coffee with shots to the head and body - Karhim looks very uncomfortable down there. Karhim looks gassed! Coffee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Karhim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Karhim shrugs it off. Coffee has control of Karhim's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Karhim regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Coffee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Karhim is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karhim wants to control but Coffee is having none of it. Coffee is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Karhim is in real trouble.
What can Karhim do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Coffee wants to control but Karhim is keeping busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coffee is cranking Karhim's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Karhim! He's tightened the choke and Karhim is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cup Coffee!
