Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Spitler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmie Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns has chosen You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon as his entrance music. Jimmie Johns told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spitler. Johns misses with a body shot.
Spitler dives in and grabs Johns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johns pushes down on Spitler's head and hops out. Johns stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Spitler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spitler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johns as he avoids it easily. Spitler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spitler lands in his opponent's guard. Spitler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johns looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johns looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johns! Johns content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Spitler is trying to get back to his feet.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Johns has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Noah Spitler will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Spitler pushes Johns against the cage but Johns circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johns lands with an uppercut that bounces Spitler off the cage and back into rage. Johns stuffs the takedown attempt from Spitler. Spitler gets slowly back to his feet. Noah Spitler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johns throws a body punch but Spitler moves out of range. Spitler shoots for a double leg takedown but Johns sprawls well. He's pushed Spitler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johns looks to score with a jab to the body but Spitler is just out of range.

And that's the end of the fight! Jimmie Johns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Johns has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
