Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reece Edward Duenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duenas comes to the cage accompanied by California Gurls. Stones has chosen T2 Theme by Austrian Death Machine as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reece Edward Duenas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Damien Stones!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duenas.
Duenas moves forwards but Stones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Damien Stones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duenas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Stones has his hands clasped together around Duenas's back. He's all about the action.

Duenas shoots for a double leg takedown but Stones sprawls well. He's pushed Duenas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Duenas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Duenas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stones is trying to defend but Duenas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Duenas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Duenas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Duenas feints and as Stones raises his hands in defense, Duenas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Duenas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stones manages to get himself to full guard.

Damien Stones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Duenas is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Stones is working to get back to half guard.
Stones tries to hold on but Duenas pushes him away.
