Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harald Blaatand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by Everybody Down. Blaatand has chosen Raining Blood as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harald Blaatand!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaatand throws a hook but Evans avoids it easily.
Blaatand gets the takedown into side control.
Blaatand working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Evans manages to work his way to half guard, despite Blaatand's best efforts.
Blaatand scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Blaatand is trying to control the action in half guard but Evans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Evans is looking to escape.
Blaatand lands strikes from half guard.
Blaatand is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blaatand breaks from Evans's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Evans is desperately trying to improve his position but Blaatand has a good base and remains in mount.
Blaatand cracks Evans with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blaatand working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Blaatand lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Blaatand prevents Evans from getting the reversal.
Blaatand is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Evans can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Evans takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Blaatand's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harald Blaatand!
