Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blake Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Wailler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Wailler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blake Howard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Wailler! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wailler throws a sloppy head kick and Howard moves out of range easily. Howard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wailler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Howard scoring with strikes to the body and head. Wailler tries to roll over but Howard keeps him under control. Wailler trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Howard working over Wailler with some ground and pound. Wailler looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Howard landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wailler is rocked! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Howard lands a nice short elbow. Wailler is still in real trouble! Can Howard finish him? Howard sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Howard wants to take a breather but Wailler is having none of it. Howard not doing much here.
Wailler seems to have recovered his senses. Wailler is not content to let Howard control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wailler is trying to stand back up but Howard is controlling him
Howard passes to side control. Wailler is trying to control Howard's posture but Howard avoids it. Howard wants to control but Wailler is keeping him busy. Wailler is looking for a sweep. Howard landing strikes. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Howard tries to move to mount but Wailler blocks the move with his legs. Wailler takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Howard is looking to take a break and control but Wailler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Howard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wailler is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Howard scores with a couple of short elbows. Wailler tries to bench press Howard off him but Howard keeps the position. Wailler can't do much from the bottom here. Howard is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wailler is trying to escape and Howard transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wailler is forced to tap! Nice work there by Howard! Very nice indeed!
