Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hanzo Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bark er (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiba kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
er throws a right and a left that Chiba avoids nicely.
Chiba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says er as he avoids it easily.
er shoots in looking for a takedown. Chiba tries to sprawl out of it but er keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chiba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and er counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by er.
er wants to stand but Chiba has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
er throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chiba works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and er counters with a single leg into guard. Chiba didn't expect that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chiba drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Chiba seems to have locked his on tight now - er screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Chiba, as he picks up the win!
