The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pray avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Baggins is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pray bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Baggins takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Baggins is looking for a sweep. Pray is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Baggins will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Baggins tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pray tries to move into full mount but can't pass Baggins's legs. Pray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baggins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baggins is looking to regain half guard here but Pray keeps moving and retains side control. Pray works to advance to full mount. Baggins defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Pray controlling his opponent. Pray with the ground and pound from mount.
It looks like Frodo Baggins has been cut. The referee warns Baggins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pray wants to control the pace but Baggins is squirming around nicely. Baggins is desperately trying to improve his position but Pray has a good base and remains in mount. Pray tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Pray lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Baggins hang on? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pray unloading with bombs! Pray cracks Baggins with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pray content just to control the position here. Baggins is wriggling around trying to escape.
