Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedrinho Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Belo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belo has chosen Apaga mais não bate as his entrance music. Filipe Belo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belo has a takedown stuffed.
Belo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Belo shoots in for a takedown but Matador shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pedrinho Matador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipe Belo.
Matador keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Filipe Belo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belo shoots in but Matador avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Belo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Matador as he jumps to the side.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Belo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matador's waist but Matador gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belo off to one side.
Nice sprawl there from Matador as Belo shoots in.
Belo swats away the attempt to clinch by Matador.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Belo.
Belo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Matador defends it nicely.
Matador shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belo's guard.
Matador got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matador has managed to get both his arms back between Belo's legs - danger averted.

Matador drops back, looking for a kneebar! Belo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Belo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Belo!
Belo has an Americana. Matador didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Belo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Belo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
