Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benson has chosen Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Benson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Benson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Benson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Benson throws a right and a left that Kelly avoids nicely.
Kelly fails to land the takedown.
Benson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Benson slaps away a takedown attempt from Kelly, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benson throws a series of punches but Kelly avoids them all with ease.

Benson closes the distance and clinches.

Kelly is working for takedown but Benson is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Benson decides to pull guard.

Kelly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kelly has gone for a leg lock! Benson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kelly's guard.

Bensonis looking to pass into half guard but Kelly pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kelly is in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Benson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kelly has Benson in his guard.
Benson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kelly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly keeping full guard, as Benson tries to pass.
Benson postures up in Kelly's guard and throws a big left but Kelly blocks it.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Benson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Benson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Benson is looking to advance position but Kelly has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Kelly has control of Benson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Benson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Benson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kelly locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Benson is forced to tap!
