PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Trevally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fig Hter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevally comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Hter has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Fig Hter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hter gets caught flat footed, as Trevally shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hter looks gassed!
Trevally wants to control from the top but Hter keeps moving.
Trevally throwing strikes but missing.
Trevally pushes down on Hter's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Trevally tries to pass to full mount but Hter defends it.

Trevally wants to work for an arm triangle but Hter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Trevally wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hter keeps working.

Trevally is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hter is just riding it out for now. Trevally eventually gives up the hold.
Trevally trying to mount his opponent but Hter defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trevally uses his free foot to push down on Hter's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hter.
Trevally trying to control but Hter is having none of it.
Trevally tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hter tries to improve his position but Trevally has taken his back! Trevally has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Hter tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Trevally Pushes Hter away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
