Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Taksin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Munemitsu Fusejima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddy Taksin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddy Taksin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Munemitsu Fusejima! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taksin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Taksin lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Munemitsu Fusejima has been cut. Taksin clinches up with Fusejima and pushes him back against the cage. Fusejima looking for a takedown. Fusejima drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fusejima wants the takedown. Taksin is fighting it off but Fusejima persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taksin's guard against the cage. Taksin keeping full guard, as Fusejima tries to pass. Fusejima wants to control from the top but Taksin keeps moving. Taksin keeping full guard, as Fusejima tries to pass. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Taksin thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fusejima if he has to take too many more of those.

The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Taksin obliges. Taksin is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taksin's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fusejima has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Taksin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Fusejima on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fusejima is keen to just control but Taksin is a slippery customer. Taksin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Taksin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Eddy Taksin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taksin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fusejima pushes Taksin against the cage but Taksin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taksin lands with a kick to the temple. Fusejima shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Taksin digs a good body shot into Fusejima's ribs. Taksin swings for the body but Fusejima moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddy Taksin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Munemitsu Fusejima's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Taksin throws a right and a left that Fusejima avoids nicely. Taksin moves in looking to clinch but Fusejima pushes him off. Taksin lands a head kick. Fusejima smiles back at him and beckons him forward. The fight stays on the outside here - Fusejima looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Taksin scores with a spinning back kick! Taksin connects with a high kick. Fusejima shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Taksin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Taksin is trying to get back to his feet. Fusejima has knee on belly and moves into mount. Fusejima is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Taksin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Taksin shrugs it off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fusejima seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Taksin is holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fusejima is looking to take Taksin's back but instead Taksin gets back to half guard. Nice work. Taksin looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fusejima trying to control the action but Taksin is working from the bottom. Taksin is trying to stand back up but Fusejima is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A kick lands to the mid section there for Taksin. Taksin tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Fusejima counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fusejima stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taksin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fusejima forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taksin is defending against the submission attempts here by Fusejima.
Fusejima is just content to waste time from the top position. Taksin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Taksin wants to stand but Fusejima is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fusejima passes Taksin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fusejima is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Taksin is trying to stand up here but Fusejima is controlling him well. Fusejima is looking for a kimura but Taksin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fusejima to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taksin wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Munemitsu Fusejima showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Munemitsu Fusejima's cut. That's time! Taksin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Taksin throws a wild body kick that Fusejima sees coming a mile off. Fusejima scores with a takedown into Taksin's guard. Taksin wants to get back to his feet but Fusejima is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fusejima wants to control from the top but Taksin keeps moving. Fusejima might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Taksin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fusejima takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fusejima prevents Taksin from getting back to his feet. Fusejima trying to control but Taksin is working from the bottom. Fusejimais looking to pass into half guard but Taksin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Taksin is in guard. Taksin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fusejima on the ground. Taksin wants to get up but he can't break Fusejima's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Taksin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Fusejima slips a straight right by Taksin. Taksin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fusejima counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Taksin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Fusejima tightens his grip and picks Taksin up, before dumping him to the ground. Taksin manages to land in guard. Fusejima looking to pass the guard. Fusejima won't allow Taksin to get back to his feet. Fusejima sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Taksin's guard. Fusejima trying to mount his opponent but Taksin defends it. Fusejima seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fusejima is working for a kimura but Taksin is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Taksin with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Eddy Taksin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Munemitsu Fusejima. Fusejima on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Taksin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fusejima avoids it. Fusejima pulls guard effortlessly. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fusejima holds on and takes a little breather. Fusejima is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Taksin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fusejima is proving hard to escape from.
And that's the end of the fight! Munemitsu Fusejima comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fusejima has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
