Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Opas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Opas has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Opas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Barnes shoots in looking for a takedown. Opas tries to sprawl out of it but Barnes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Opas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Opas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Barnes is looking to take a break and control but Opas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Barnes will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Opas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barnes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barnes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
