Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miki Zdravkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Cowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miki Zdravkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeff Cowan! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cowan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cowan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zdravkov defends it nicely. Cowan throws out a loose jab but Zdravkov uses good head movement to avoid it. Cowan lands a nice looking body shot.
Cowan gets the takedown into side control. Zdravkov defending against the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Zdravkov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cowan lands some shots froms side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cowan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cowan cracks Zdravkov with a big right hand but Zdravkov just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Zdravkov is breathing heavily. Cowan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zdravkov, who protects the arm well. Zdravkov is trying to control Cowan's posture but Cowan avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Check out the look on Cowan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Cowan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Zdravkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cowan but great work by Zdravkov. Zdravkov tries to move to mount but Cowan blocks the move with his legs. Cowan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cowan struggling a bit here. Cowan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zdravkov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zdravkov stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cowan lands with a nice combination. Zdravkov backs away looking to recover. Cowan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Cowan winds up and cracks Zdravkov with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zdravkov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cowan on the ground. Cowan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zdravkov keeps working. Zdravkov wants to sweep but Cowan has passed to side control! Zdravkov takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cowan is working to tighten is grip on Zdravkov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Zdravkov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cowan is really squeezing tight and eventually Zdravkov passes out! Cowan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
