Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bird Eye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eye has chosen Fed Up as his entrance music. Mike Rob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Rob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bird Eye! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Eye defends it nicely. Rob looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Eye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rob paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eye throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Eye.
Eye misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eye throws a head kick that Rob semi-blocks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eye gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Eye pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eye misses with a series of wild punches.
Eye cracks a nice hook into Rob's ribs. Bird Eye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rob takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Eye throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Eye rushes Rob and presses him up against the ropes. The referee is keeping an eye on Eye - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Eye scores with a hook to the body. Rob takes a knee right on the jaw!
Eye is pushing Rob up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Eye breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Eye lands a jab to the nose.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rob keeps the fight on the outside. Eye misses with a series of wild punches.
Eye throws a series of punches but Rob moves out of range. Eye wants to clinch. Eye punishes Rob's body with a nice straight punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Eye lands a high kick!
Eye keeps Rob at a distance using the push kick. Eye throws a one two combo.
Eye clinches. Eye wants to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bird Eye dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rob circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eye closes the distance and pushes Rob back into the ropes. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rob effectively controlling the action here. Eye leaning his opponent against the ropes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The crowd are getting on Eye's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Eye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Eye looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Eye tries to bum rush Rob with a series of wild strikes but Rob uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Eye stalks Rob and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rob's face. Rob staggers backwards, shaken. An inside leg kick lands from Eye. Eye lands with a right hand. Eye tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rob swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bird Eye is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Eye fails in his attempt to clinch. Rob fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eye darts in and clinches Rob up against the ropes. A short left from Eye. Eye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eye moves into the clinch. Eye pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mike Rob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eye gets a clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Eye is working Rob over against the ropes. Eye is leaning against Rob and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Eye takes the fight into the clinch. Eye manages to break the clinch.
Eye clinches. Rob looking to stall.
A right hook to the body lands for Eye.
Eye tries to stall but Rob uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Eye digs a right hand underneath Rob's ribcage. Rob let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Eye breaks the clinch.
Eye closes the distance and pushes Rob back into the ropes. Eye lands a shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bird Eye showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A punch combination from Eye misses. Rob swats away the attempt to clinch by Eye. Rob fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice uppercut there from Eye. Eye stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rob takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Eye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rob paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eye has taken the fight to the clinch.
Eye dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. Eye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Eye misses with a wild combination.

Eye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Eye fakes the leg kick and cracks Rob in the body. Eye misses with a wild combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rob tries for a takedown but Eye sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Eye is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Eye misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Eye connects with a high kick. Mike Rob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bird Eye is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Eye lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rob's sensitive parts. Eye throws a head kick that half lands.
And that's the end of the fight! Bird Eye comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Eye has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
