Mendez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lopez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lopez is breathing heavily.
Mendez scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mendez thuds his right hand into Lopez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
BOOM! Mendez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lopez. Lopez tries to recover but Mendez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lopez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
