Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Thornton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Thornton!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thornton sprawls well initially but Slice persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Thornton wants to control but Slice is keeping busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thornton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Slice missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Thornton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slice throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Thornton tries to clinch there but Slice circles away.
Thornton fails with the takedown
and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Slice prevents Thornton from getting back to his feet.
Slice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Thornton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Thornton has his foot on Slice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slice works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thornton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Slice.
Slice trying to stand up but can't free himself from Thornton's guard.
Thornton trying to keep a closed guard but Slice is proving a slippery customer.
Slice stops Thornton from standing up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Thornton looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Thornton looks gassed!
Thornton trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thornton has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Slice to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thornton is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Slice pulls down on the head and he's put Thornton to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kimbo Slice!
