Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daigo Goto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reilly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Frontline-Pillar. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daigo Goto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goto but Goto pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reilly shoots in for a double leg but Goto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Goto stuffs the takedown.
Daigo Goto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Reilly.

Reilly shoots in and bounces Goto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Reilly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Reilly throws and elbow that misses. Goto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Reilly's guard. Nice move by Goto!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Goto closes the distance looking for a takedown. Goto picks Reilly up and slams him brutally to the floor. Reilly is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Daigo Goto!
