The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Holliday is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Horace wants to improve his position but Holliday is controlling well.
Horace looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Holliday prevents Horace from improving his position.

Horace tries to roll over but Holliday keeps him under control.

and Holliday decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Horace's guard.
Holliday wants to control from the top but Horace keeps moving.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Horace defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Holliday.

Holliday has control of Horace's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Horace regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Horace won't enjoy being in this position. Holliday looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Horace is tapping - it's over boys! Holliday picks up the submission victory!
