Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hector Quintana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quintana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to El Ultimo Mambi-OPB. Hunt has chosen Dyers Eve as his entrance music. Hector Quintana has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quintana shoots in and drives through. Hunt sprawls well.

Quintana shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hunt's guard.

Quintana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Quintana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Quintana is on top in guard.

Hunt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quintana doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quintana manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
