Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Shmeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Shmeck will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hansen working the strikes but Shmeck uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Shmeck should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

You get the feeling that Shmeck really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Shmeck's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Hansen closes the distance and clinches up with Shmeck, looking for a takedown. Hansen pushes Shmeck against the cage but Shmeck circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hansen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shmeck sprawls well. Shmeck wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hansen gets slowly back to his feet.

Hansen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shmeck's waist but Shmeck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hansen off to one side.

Shmeck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
