Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Nunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sverker Uggla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uggla has chosen Edvard Grieg - In the hall of the mountain king as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sverker Uggla will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Nunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sverker Uggla! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Sverker Uggla has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Nunn. Uggla does a little dance to reset his feet. A punch combination from Nunn misses. Uggla closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nunn wants to control but Uggla postures up. Nunn tries to bench press Uggla off him but Uggla keeps the position. Uggla misses with the ground and pound. Uggla has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nunn is looking to regain half guard here but Uggla keeps moving and retains side control. Nunn is working hard here to advance position. Uggla landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Nunn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Uggla off and has taken his back! Nunn doesn't have the hooks in and Uggla manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nunn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nunn wants to sweep here but Uggla controlling him for the moment. Uggla throws and elbow that misses. Nunn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Uggla's guard. Nice move by Nunn!
That's one minute gone in the round. Uggla not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Uggla throws a body punch but Nunn moves out of range. A jab from Nunn finds it's way through Uggla's defenses. Nunn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nunn cracks Uggla with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nunn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Uggla to stand back up! Uggla looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nunn scores with a hook to the body. Uggla takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nunn scores with a sloppy right hand. Uggla should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uggla leaves his chin hanging out and Nunn seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Uggla crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Nunn!
