Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Macarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macarov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Boris Macarov has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Macarov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Monroe - the referee stops the clock and Macarov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Monroe. Macarov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Monroe scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Monroe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Monroe lets loose with a powerful body kick. Macarov will feel that in the morning.

Monroe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Monroe connects with a solid leg kick.

Monroe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Monroe connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Macarov tumbling to the canvas! Monroe pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Macarov was done - good stoppage!
