Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Freebird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Belgian Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freebird comes to the cage accompanied by Freebird. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maniac lands a head kick!

It looks like Adrian Freebird has been cut.
Maniac shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freebird but Freebird pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maniac digs a good hook to Freebird's body.
Maniac dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Maniac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Freebird has his takedown stuffed

and Maniac decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Freebird's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Freebird has his takedown stuffed
and Maniac counters with a right hand to the body.
Maniac scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Maniac is looking to slow Freebird down with leg kicks.
Belgian Maniac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freebird is breathing heavily.

Freebird shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maniac's guard.

Maniac is striking but Freebird is not phased and passes to half guard.
Maniac is controlling Freebird's trapped leg to prevent Freebird from advancing to side control.

Maniac pushes a forearm under Freebird's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Freebird is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
