The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Willis but Willis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Willis feints and as Ivanovich raises his hands in defense, Willis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ivanovich is looking for a triangle but Willis pushes his legs off easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
