Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ross The Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giles Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ross The Boss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Giles Edwards! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Boss lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Edwards circles away quickly and effectively. Ross The Boss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Boss doesn't manage to clinch there - Edwards circles away.
The Boss connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Edwards shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The Boss throws a series of punches but Edwards moves out of range. The Boss misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Boss bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Edwards is rocked! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edwards will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Edwards fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ross The Boss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giles Edwards. Edwards swats away the attempt to clinch by The Boss. Edwards fails to land the takedown. Edwards takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Boss shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Boss was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The Boss wants to control the pace but Edwards is squirming around nicely. The Boss loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Edwards scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from The Boss land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. The Boss stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross The Boss!
