Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between kurk luck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Beavertail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beavertail throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No joy there for Beavertail, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Beavertail shoots for a takedown but luck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
luck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
luck slips under a jab.
luck circles away from the clinch attempt.
luck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Beavertail misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Beavertail throws an overhand right that lands on luck's shoulder, as luck tries to avoid the shot.
luck swats away the attempt to clinch by Beavertail.
Beavertail keeps the fight on the outside.
Beavertail will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

luck tries to close the distance and clinch but Beavertail swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
luck shoots in for a takedown but Beavertail shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and luck counters with a single leg into guard. Beavertail didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

luck stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Beavertail swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and luck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Beavertail!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beavertail can do anything to dispel that myth.

and luck counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

luck tries to pull guard but Beavertail holds him up against the cage and eventually luck drops back down to his feet.

Beavertail tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and luck avoids it.

luck tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Beavertail really doesn't want to stay on the ground with luck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Beavertail is looking to advance position but luck has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Beavertail is wriggling around trying to escape.
Beavertail wants to hold on but luck pushes him away.
Beavertail tries to get back to half guard but can't.
luck throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
luck tries to control but Beavertail wriggling away.
luck misses with a head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beavertail closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beavertail lands in his opponent's guard.
luck has an active guard here but Beavertail has managed to pass into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Beavertail stands and steps away. luck gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Beavertail darts in trying to clinch
and luck counters with a thumping low kick.
Beavertail connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent luck tumbling to the canvas! Beavertail pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! luck was done - good stoppage!
