Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claude Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vegas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jack Vegas by MNEMIC. Claude Kelly is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kelly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kelly wants to pass the guard but Vegas is defending well.
Vegas has hold of Kelly's hands but Kelly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vegas punching from the bottom.
Kelly slips a nice elbow through Vegas's hands, connecting with Vegas's forehead.

Kelly controlling the pace.
Kelly working Vegas over with strikes.
Kelly is taking a breather. Vegas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kelly tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vegas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kelly decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Vegas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kelly was covering up waiting for the punch and Vegas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vegas controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vegas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kelly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kelly looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kelly has his hands on Vegas's head, controlling the position.

Vegas is looking to work some ground and pound but Kelly has wrist control.

Kelly scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kelly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vegas tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vegas to the ground. Vegas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kelly.

It looks like Jack Vegas has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vegas tries to bum rush Kelly with a series of wild strikes but Kelly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Vegas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kelly napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kelly wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vegas working away.

Vegas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vegas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Vegas looks gassed!
Vegas passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kelly!
Kelly is looking to get to half guard.
Kelly is working hard here to advance position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kelly regains half guard.
Kelly controlling the position well.
Vegas frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly wants to control but Vegas is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vegas tries to control but Kelly wriggling away.
Kelly tries to hold on but Vegas postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Vegas tries to move into range but Kelly moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Kelly as Vegas shoots in.
Kelly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vegas pinned against the cage. Vegas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kelly looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Kelly slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kelly decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vegas, up you get!
Kelly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Vegas is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vegas is breathing heavily.

Kelly shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Vegas is unconscious as Kelly celebrates over his stricken foe!
