Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark's entrance music is Iron Man. A fine choice. Solid Snake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Solid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Snake scores with a four punch combination!
Snake throws a jab but it's blocked by Stark.
Snake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Snake.
Snake throws a head kick but Stark moves out of range.
Stark looks for a takedown but Snake sprawls well.
Stark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snake's waist but Snake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stark off to one side.
Snake misses with a jab, cross combination.
Snake throws a hook to the side of Stark's head but Stark sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stark shoots in for a takedown but Snake shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Snake cracks Stark with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Snake throws out a loose jab but Stark uses good head movement to avoid it.

Stark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snake has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Stark trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Snake is pulling down on Stark's head. It's preventing any offense from Stark, at least for the moment.

Stark drops back looking for a leg! Snake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Snake manages to kick Stark off! Stark jumps back into Snake's guard.

Stark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Snake has his hands on Stark's head, controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Snake has Stark pulled in close to control his posture.
Stark won't allow Snake to sweep him here.
Snake is adopting a defensive guard.

Stark has gone for a leg lock! Snake slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stark's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Stark is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Snake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Stark throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Solid Snake dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Stark decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Snake keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Stark drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Snake dives on top into guard.
Snake controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Stark is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Snake is aware though and is defending well.

Snake advances to half guard.
Snake keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Solid Snake just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Snake pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stark steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snake.
Snake lands a right hook to the body.
Stark slips a straight right by Snake.
Stark fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Snake avoids it really well and circles away.
A combination from Snake does no damage.
Stark closes this distance looking for a takedown but Snake circles away.
Stark shoots in looking for a takedown. Snake tries to sprawl out of it but Stark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Snake scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Stark tries for a takedown but Snake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Snake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Snake lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Stark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Snake as he avoids it easily.
Stark looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Snake throws an overhand right that lands on Stark's shoulder, as Stark tries to avoid the shot.
Stark fails with a takedown attempt.
Snake scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stark doesn't seem bothered though.
Snake lands with a straight right. Stark didn't see that one coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stark.
Stark walks into a left hand.
Snake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stark looks for a takedown but Snake sprawls well.
Snake scores with a jab.
Stark dives in and grabs Snake's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snake pushes down on Stark's head and hops out.
Snake getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Stark shoots in but Snake avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Snake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Snake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stark shoots in for a takedown but Snake shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Stark displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snake throws out the jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Snake!
Stark takes one to the side of the head.
Snake sizes up Stark with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Stark is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Snake.
Snake thuds a left hand into Stark's body.
Snake lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Snake shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stark manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snake sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stark's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stark won't allow Snake to pass to mount.
Stark is not content to let Snake control the position.
Snake missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solid Snake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Snake lands with an uppercut that bounces Stark off the cage and back into rage.
Stark tries for a takedown but Snake circles away easily
and Snake counters with a straight right hand.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stark takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


Stark is rocked!
Snake cracks Stark with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Stark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snake throws a nice looking combination but Stark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Snake cracks Stark with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Stark tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Snake pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Stark is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Solid Snake!
