Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Noeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosas Muy Malas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin Noeye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cosas Muy Malas! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muy Malas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Muy Malas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Noeye tries to lock up and control but Muy Malas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Noeye gets back to half guard. Noeye is looking to improve his position.
Muy Malas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Noeye doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Muy Malas. Noeye could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Noeye is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muy Malas escapes and gets back to his feet. Muy Malas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Noeye to the mat! Noeye manages to get full guard. Noeye might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Noeye is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Noeye scoring with strikes to the body and head. Noeye sitting and controlling from the half guard. Noeye trying to control from half guard but Muy Malas is working away. Muy Malas is trying to control but can't.
Muy Malas is not content to let Noeye control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muy Malas trying to hold on to Noeye's head to control him but Noeye postures up.

Muy Malas is refusing to be controlled, as Noeye sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muy Malas is positioning himself well to prevent Noeye advancing to mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Muy Malas gets caught flat footed, as Noeye shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Muy Malas can do anything to dispel that myth. Noeye is breathing heavily. Muy Malas is trying to keep Noeye in close.
Muy Malas looking for a guillotine here but Noeye defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noeye advances to half guard. Muy Malas tries to get to full guard but Noeye has control of the leg. Muy Malas manages to escape and get back to his feet! Muy Malas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noeye is trying to control Muy Malas's posture but Muy Malas avoids it. Noeye is working to avoid the ground and pound but Muy Malas connects with a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Who's going to make the next move? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Noeye can't do much from the bottom here. Muy Malas wants to control but Noeye is keeping him busy. Muy Malas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Noeye is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Muy Malas is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cosas Muy Malas will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Noeye tries to keep at a distance but Muy Malas has taken the fight into the clinch. Muy Malas fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Noeye tries for a takedown but Muy Malas manages to get underhooks.
Noeye is working for takedown but Muy Malas is calmly controlling the position for now. Muy Malas manages to break the clinch.
Noeye has his takedown stuffed and Muy Malas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Noeye! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Noeye. That's going to take a lot out of him. Muy Malas controlling the pace for now. Noeye is bucking up trying to escape but Muy Malas cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Muy Malas cracks Noeye with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Muy Malas seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Noeye is holding on tight.
Muy Malas wants to control the pace but Noeye is squirming around nicely. Muy Malas working for a guillotine from mount but Noeye is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muy Malas controlling from the full mount.
Despite being in the dominant position, Cosas Muy Malas just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Muy Malas decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Muy Malas decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Muy Malas scores with a sloppy right hand. Noeye should have avoided that one. Muy Malas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Muy Malas wants to control from the top but Noeye keeps moving. Noeye looking for a sweep. Not yet Noeye, not yet. Muy Malas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Muy Malas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Muy Malas wanted to stand there but Noeye had control of the position. Muy Malas looking to sit in guard and control but Noeye gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cosas Muy Malas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Noeye misses with a takedown attempt and Muy Malas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Muy Malas. Muy Malas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Muy Malas trying to control the position from guard on top but Noeye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Noeye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Muy Malas defends well. Noeye is looking for a triangle but Muy Malas pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Muy Malas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Noeye is keeping the position for now. Noeye is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Muy Malas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Muy Malas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Muy Malas showed some decent athleticism there. Muy Malas is looking to advance position but Noeye won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muy Malas trying to control from half guard but Noeye is working away. The fighters are battling for position here. Noeye manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Muy Malas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noeye. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Noeye can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Muy Malas controls the pace. Muy Malas postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Muy Malas passes Noeye's left leg - he's now in half guard. Muy Malas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Noeye is staying active underneath Muy Malas, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Muy Malas not landing any meaningful shots this time. Muy Malas is trying to control the action in half guard but Noeye is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Muy Malas not doing much here.
Noeye avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Muy Malas. Muy Malas trying to pass the guard but Noeye defending well. Muy Malas trying to control the action but Noeye is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Noeye with a lazy takedown attempt and Muy Malas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Noeye's guard. Noeye working for a triangle but Muy Malas defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Cosas Muy Malas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Muy Malas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
