The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bialoszewski tries to clinch up but St Pierre circles away and keeps his distance. St Pierre darts in and clinches Bialoszewski up against the cage. St Pierre drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bialoszewski pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Come on Bialoszewski - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Bialoszewski scores with a shot to the side of St Pierre's head. St Pierre is trying to drag Bialoszewski to the mat but Bialoszewski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bialoszewski controlling the action here for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre is working for takedown but Bialoszewski is calmly controlling the position for now. St Pierre tries for a takedown but Bialoszewski manages to get underhooks.

St Pierre is rocked! Bialoszewski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from St Pierre.
St Pierre is still on wobbly legs! Can Bialoszewski finish him? Bialoszewski is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. St Pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bialoszewski creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through St Pierre's defenses. Bialoszewski lands with a short shot to the head. Bialoszewski has St Pierre pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. St Pierre is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Bialoszewski - that's hurt St Pierre badly! Oh, another knee lands and St Pierre is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but St Pierre doesn't seem to be complaining.
