Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Strider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strider has chosen Neurosonic - Until I die as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strider steps to the side to avoid the strikes from noel.
noel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strider as he jumps to the side.
Strider moves away from the strike by noel.
noel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strider defends it nicely.
Strider defends well against a solid takedown attempt from noel.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary noel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Strider drives through and clinches with noel against the cage.
noel is trying to force a seperation but Strider has the dominant position.
noel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strider keeps control of noel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for noel.

and Strider counters by clinching up.
Strider lands a nice knee to the body.
noel tries to stall but Strider uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Strider cracks noel with a nice body shot.

noel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Strider walks away with a smile on his face. noel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
noel closes the distance and clinches up with Strider, looking for a takedown. noel pushes Strider against the cage but Strider circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A low kick from noel misses
and Strider counters with a good low kick that noel was not able to check.
Eric Strider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
noel is breathing heavily.
noel falls off balance throwing a combination
and Strider moves into the clinch.
noel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Strider working noel over with knees to the body.
Strider lands a right hand that snaps the head of noel backwards.
Strider landing knees to the head.
Strider lands an elbow just above noel 's eye.
noel misses with a punch on the inside.
noel wants to stall.
noel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Strider's elbow.

A frustrated look appears on noel's face as he tries to break the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
noel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Strider uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from noel.
noel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Strider counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops noel! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Strider!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Strider!
