Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isiah Kemp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mano Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kemp goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Kemp dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Kemp's head and hops out.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kemp swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Kemp shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Kemp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kemp lands with an uppercut that bounces Silva off the cage and back into rage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kemp swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Kemp with that takedown attempt.

Silva is looking to clinch but Kemp is avoiding it.

Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva throws a series of punches but Kemp avoids them all with ease.

Kemp closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Kemp pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Kemp counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Silva wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kemp moves into full mount! Silva won't be happy about that!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kemp has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.

Kemp goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Silva turns into him and now he's in Kemp's guard.
Kemp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva wanted to stand there but Kemp had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva won't allow Kemp to sweep him here.
Kemp looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Silva is defending well. Kemp quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kemp celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
