Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between koln poir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Bobrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, koln poir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Bobrov!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
poir tries to clinch but Bobrov is having none of it.
poir looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
poir forces Bobrov back against the cage and clinches.
Bobrov jumps guard and drags poir to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bobrov looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! poir has picked Bobrov up and slammed him! Bobrov can't keep hold of the triangle and poir manages to pass to side control!
Bobrov sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
poir is trying to control the action in half guard but Bobrov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bobrov is looking for a sweep. poir is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

poir wants to stand but Bobrov has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Bobrov tries to get to full guard but poir has control of the leg.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bobrov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
poir tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Bobrov has the hooks in. poir is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
poir might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bobrov doesn't have the hooks in and poir manages to turn into his guard.

Bobrov cracks poir with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
poir tries to lock up and control but Bobrov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bobrov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control poir kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bobrov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
poir wants to hold on but Bobrov pushes him away.

poir is in a horrible position here. Bobrov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bobrov is trying to control poir's posture but poir avoids it.
Bobrov tries to buck poir off but poir is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Bobrov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

poir wants to control but Bobrov is keeping him busy.

poir could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

poir scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bobrov feints and as poir raises his hands in defense, Bobrov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
poir is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now poir is on top in guard.

Bobrov pushes poir off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bobrov moves into the clinch.
poir wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bobrov has him pressed against the cage.
Bobrov tries to pull guard but poir won't allow it.
Bobrov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bobrov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bobrov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. poir tries to avoid it but Bobrov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag poir to the ground. poir escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
koln poir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Bobrov.
Bobrov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

poir manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bobrov manages to get himself to full guard.

poir sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bobrov's guard.
Bobrov is refusing to be controlled, as poir sits in half guard.
poir is stalling here. Bobrov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! poir seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bobrov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
