Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Belgian Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers has chosen Day N Nite-Kid Cudi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peppers looks to score with a jab to the body but Maniac is just out of range.
Maniac tries to score with a low kick but Peppers moves his leg out of the way.

Peppers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maniac's half guard.

Peppers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maniac. That did some damage!

and Maniac decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peppers's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Peppers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Maniac moves out of range as Peppers strikes.
Peppers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maniac sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Maniac swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maniac closes the distance and clinches up with Peppers, looking for a takedown. Maniac pushes Peppers against the cage but Peppers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Peppers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Peppers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maniac.
Maniac takes a jab right on the kisser.
Peppers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maniac.
Peppers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Maniac does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Peppers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Maniac.
Peppers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Maniac checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Maniac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maniac showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Peppers tries to get to full guard but Maniac has control of the leg.
Well, if Maniac is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Maniac can't escape the position.
Peppers unloads with some shots from mount but Maniac bucks and avoids them well.
Maniac is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Peppers with shots to the head and body - Maniac looks very uncomfortable down there.

Peppers throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Peppers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Maniac is now in Peppers's guard. A big mistake from Peppers there, giving up the dominant position!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Maniac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peppers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peppers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Belgian Maniac is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Belgian Maniac.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maniac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
